June 26, 2000 - SofTec Microsystems, a tool company leader in the emulation support for STMicroelectronics ST6 and ST7 microcontrollers, announced today a strategic partnership with Raisonance, a software tool company offering C Compilers for the ST6 architecture.

The first effect of the partnership is the distribution agreement which will allow SofTec Microsystems to distribute the Raisonance ST6 C compiler (RkitST6). This compiler, which dramatically shortens the software development time, will be soon purchasable directly from SofTec Microsystems, either online or through its worlwide distribution network.

SofTec Microsystems DS62 Series of In-Circuit, Real-Time Emulators for the ST6 architecture will support the Raisonance C compiler from the next release, which will be made freely downloadable from SofTec Microsystems web site after the Summer 2000.
