October 18, 2002 - SofTec Microsystems proudly announces an agreement with Metrowerks Europe to integrate the inDART-HC08 family of tools with CodeWarrior IDE.

Thanks to this agreement and following two months of technical cooperation, the technology leading edge software suite of Metrowerks natively supports the award winning in-circuit emulators/programmers of SofTec Microsystems, which are specially designed to debug embedded systems based on the Motorola 8-bit 68HC908 devices' family.

Starting from the first week of November, SofTec Microsystems will be shipping all of the tools of the inDART-HC08 family bundled with CodeWarrior Studio Special Edition, giving end users all they need to edit, compile, simulate, download and in-circuit debug their code.

The basis of this cooperation is founded on the firm belief that this alliance will bring mutual benefits in the promotion of the relevant products and enlarge the support of Motorola 8-bit MCUs.
