March 17, 2003 - SofTec Microsystems has announced the development of a new series of low-cost in-circuit debuggers/programmers for all of the derivatives of the Motorola HCS12 family of microcontrollers.

The tools will be designed around SofTec Microsystems' proprietary inDART technology and will be provided with a powerful Metrowerks CodeWarrior IDE. The new inDART-HCS12 series will feature a convenient USB connection to the host computer, and will be available on the second quarter of 2003. Evaluation boards will be available on Design Kit packages.
